A South China distributor of plastic raw materials since 1996
Yilong (Guangdong) Plastic Co., Ltd. was established in 1996 in Daliang, Shunde District, Foshan, Guangdong, and has traded plastic raw materials continuously since then. We supply injection moulders, OEM factories and manufacturing customers, and hold first-tier distributor appointments in South China for several Fortune 500 petrochemical producers.
Working inside the Guangdong plastics processing cluster, we cover ABS, PP, PE, PS and masterbatch through a network of long-standing petrochemical supply channels, supported by local stock. Standard grades are normally quoted from inventory; other grades are ordered against confirmed requirements and schedule.
Supply is only part of the work. We also confirm grade and performance requirements before an order is placed, issue test and compliance documents with the material, and provide the paperwork needed for dispatch and export. Production plans differ from customer to customer, and our role is to make the material side of those plans as predictable as possible.
Three decades, from Shunde outwards
The main dates below are those we can confirm. Earlier details and specific appointments are still being verified, and are marked accordingly.
Company founded
Yilong was registered in Shunde District, Foshan, and began trading plastic raw materials for local injection moulding plants.
Distributor appointments in South China
Supply relationships with upstream petrochemical producers were established and distributor appointments in South China followed, widening the range from a single channel to multiple brands and grades.
To be confirmed: producers and appointment years
Export business added
Alongside domestic customers, the company began exporting material to overseas buyers, supporting dispatch, documentation and compliance requirements for those shipments.
To be confirmed: export regions and dates
Continued investment in supply and service
Ongoing work on warehousing, sourcing and compliance documentation, with the aim of keeping customer procurement and production schedules in step.
Documentation handled before it becomes a delay
Authorisations and test documents are filed by product line and batch. Coverage for a specific grade can be confirmed with your sales contact before ordering.
- Distributor authorisation: First-tier distributor appointments are held for selected product lines. Written confirmation is available on request.
- SGS testing: Third-party test reports are held for standard grades and can be issued by batch for factory audits and shipment files. Available on request.
- REACH: Documents covering EU chemical substance requirements can be supplied with shipments. Available on request.
- ROHS: Restricted substance test documents for household appliance and electrical customers. Available on request.
All documents are available on request from your sales contact. This page is for information only and does not offer downloads. Test results relate to the batch submitted for testing; per-batch requirements should be confirmed before ordering.
Stable sourcing alongside local stock
Capability at both ends — upstream channels and local warehousing — makes delivery of general purpose grades more predictable.
- Upstream channels: Long-standing working relationships with petrochemical and compounding manufacturers in China and overseas. Material is organised by brand and grade, and source and specification are traceable.
- Local stock and buffer inventory: Warehousing in Shunde with buffer stock of general purpose grades, shortening lead times for customers in the Pearl River Delta and reducing the risk of a line waiting for material.
- Four material lines in one place: ABS, PP, PE, PS and masterbatch sourced and completed together, cutting the management cost of dealing with several suppliers and of staggered deliveries.
- Source coordination: For special grades or large volumes we coordinate source and schedule through our purchasing network. Confirmed lead times follow the quotation.
Documents for factory audits, shipments and export
Test and compliance documents are checked against the specific grade and provided to help customers meet audit and export requirements.
- Test documents: SGS, REACH and ROHS test documents are provided against the specific grade, and are available on request for factory audits, reviews and shipments.
- Audit and customer review support: We help compile the material lists and documents a customer audit requires, checking them item by item before submission.
- Batch and traceability: Supply is organised by batch, with certificate of analysis and related documents supplied with the goods where the manufacturer provides them, for incoming inspection and traceability.
- Export document checklist: We help confirm the document list required for the destination country and the customer, so that an incomplete set does not interrupt the shipping schedule.
Support with selection, tool trials and moulding problems
Practical recommendations for buyers and engineers, rather than a datasheet alone.
- Grade selection advice: Comparing flow, strength and class against part function, wall thickness, flow length ratio and appearance requirements, to identify grades worth evaluating.
- Processing parameters: We help obtain the manufacturer’s processing data on drying conditions, barrel temperature, mould temperature and shrinkage, so that the line can be adjusted.
- Trial material and tool trial support: Small trial quantities are arranged for tool trials and process confirmation, with the production batch and lead time agreed before volume ordering.
- Troubleshooting common moulding problems: Recommendations on both material and process for common issues such as sink marks, flash, colour variation and brittleness.
Logistics, warehousing and response times
The arrangements and typical timeframes are set out below, so that you can plan production.
